Spiritual audacity
Onwards, yall
Hello Beloved Community,
Spiritual audacity might sound serious so let’s reframe it as a permission slip to be wildly, joyfully you. Think of it as your soul giving a magnificent, unapologetic mic drop to a song that lights you up from the darkest parts of yourself. It’s the confidence to show up fully in the world, messy parts and all, knowing that your inner light is too big and too bright to dim for anyone else’s comfort. It means daring to dream a little bigger, praying (whatever this means to YOU and it 10000% can mean jogging, camping, creating, and napping), and believing in the joy that simply is. This isn’t about being loud or over-the-top; it’s about claiming your space with heart and humor, because truly, the world needs your unique iteration of audacity..
What does this look like in practice? It’s showing up to your community singalong ready to belt out the songs, even if you’re slightly off-key, because the joy of collective liberation is what matters. It’s signing up for that activism workshop not because you’re an expert but because you have it in your spirit today to say, “I’m here to learn and I’m ready to fight the good fight.” Audacity is the courage to treat your deepest values—like rest, justice, and joy—as non-negotiable VIP guests in your daily life. It’s a delightful, energetic “yes!” to your own inherent worth and to the big, beautiful changes you want to see happen.
So, let’s turn up the volume on our spiritual selves, whatever that means to you! As Passover and Easter and Ramadan fade into the mirrors behind us and spring beckons us out of doors it is time to feel that sun on our faces. Kick off your shoes and let that inner sense of conviction run wild. When you meet your days with your own version of spiritual audacity you’re sending out a ripple of fierce, warm energy that invites everyone around you to do the same. Go forth and be audaciously, wonderfully joyful today, y’all. The world NEEDS this kind of medicine in these times so don’t be afraid to open your heart, Care Bear style, and let it lead you where you need to go today.
Onwards, y’all.

JUSTICE OFFERING
Assembly Required is Stacy Abrams’ podcast. I gave her most recent episode a listen and I’m not sad about it. She talks with one of my fave climate justice activists about what if we get this moment right AND Iran. Give it a listen.
JOY OFFERING
Stacey Abrams is BOTH of our joy and justice offerings this week. Our joy offering will direct you towards her murder mystery books. Yep, she does that too!
